Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
When you are entitled to a remedy
Under the Australian Consumer Law, goods we sell must be of acceptable quality, match their description, and be fit for any purpose you told us about. Services must be done with due care and skill. If they are not, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund (depending on whether the failure is major or minor), and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss.
Remanufactured and used parts must also be of acceptable quality, judged by what a reasonable person would expect given their description, condition and price.
What is not a failure
A part has not failed a consumer guarantee if the problem was caused by:
- incorrect fitting, priming, coding or adjustment by someone other than us;
- misuse, accident, abnormal use, or use outside the manufacturer's specifications;
- contaminated or incorrect fuel or oil, or a fault in another part of the vehicle; or
- normal wear and tear.
This does not apply if the problem was caused by us, including by incorrect advice we gave you.
Change of mind
We do not offer refunds or exchanges if you change your mind or order the wrong part. This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, not as described, or not fit for a purpose you told us about.
How to make a claim
- Contact us at [EMAIL] or +61 468 642 380 with your order number, a description of the problem and photos if you can.
- Stop using the part if continuing to use it could cause more damage.
- If we ask you to return the part for inspection, we will tell you how. For a valid claim we pay the reasonable cost of returning it. If an item is large or costly to return, we will arrange to collect it at our cost.
- We may need the manufacturer to test the part. We will keep you updated and give you our decision within a reasonable time.
Refunds go back to your original payment method.
If you are claiming other losses caused by a faulty part (for example labour or towing costs), send us the invoices. We will assess them under the Australian Consumer Law.
Manufacturer warranties
Some parts come with a manufacturer's warranty. That warranty is given by the manufacturer on its own terms and is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. We will help you make a manufacturer warranty claim if you ask. A manufacturer's warranty conditions do not reduce your consumer guarantee rights against us.
Workshop repairs
Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.
